Over the weekend we began posting Stories of some items we had planned to offer at our annual Sample & Seconds Sale. This event typically takes place in-person at The SF Shop at the end of the month, but this year will be a bit different…

For the first time ever, our crowd-favorite CMD Sample & Seconds Sale will take place completely online. We are sad that we won’t get to see your lovely faces at one of our favorite yearly events, but we’re also so excited to finally offer the best of this sale to all those who aren’t local!

Here’s how it will work... You can shop our Sample Sale pieces one (or both) of two ways:

(1) Shop the Sale via Facebook or Instagram Stories

- Every day we’ll post FIVE new Sample Sale items to our Instagram Stories (also visible on Facebook - we'll be better at checking our Facebook Inbox during and after the sale). On the weekends, we’ll post even more items!

- If you see an item you like, respond to that particular story with your phone number. We’ll call you ASAP to get your payment and shipping details. Do keep in mind the following…

- There are no holds. If you love it, snag it. Time is of the essence here! Once an item is gone, it’s gone.

(2) Shop the Sale via Private FaceTime with Colleen

Looking for something specific, something you haven’t seen on Stories yet, or just want your pick of the litter?

Yeah. We would too!

Get inside access to THE sale of the year with Colleen as your personal shopper. Book your complimentary 30-minute private FaceTime personal shopping session HERE. If you don't have an iPhone, leave a note when booking and we can set something else up!

Have general questions about the Sample Sale? Send us a note and we'll write you back ASAP!

Terms & Conditions

- All items are final sale.

- Prices do not include taxes.

- As with all handmade products, no two items are exactly the same. This is even more true for our Sample Sale pieces. Whereas some items are one-of-a-kind designs, others have minor imperfections, were samples for a new collection, or are the last of a discontinued design.

- All pieces are handmade and feature sterling silver (.925), oxidized sterling silver, and/or 14k classic yellow or rose gold-fill (14k gold over brass core, no nickel) materials.

- All orders over $100 ship free (after sales and discounts).

Happy Sample Sale shopping! What a crazy year it's been so far, but we'll get through this... together.

On behalf of all of us here at CMD, THANK YOU for continuing to shop small, local, and handmade in these uncertain times.

Stay healthy, stay positive.

xo,

Hello, I have found a few pieces that I am interested in. I wanted to see if there were any in the sample sale or have imperfections? I am not really great at computer stuff but would like to give it a try to see…..please let me know. I am in Indiana.
Thank you for your time
Susan

2020 - what a year! I remember getting off the plane on March 11th to arrive in SF for our annual Sample Sale. At that time, the virus was becoming more pronounced and worrisome. For better or worse, our mayor called a Shelter in Place order on March 16th. That day felt like the beginning of a massive shift for our small business [...]
