After a few magical weeks out west, I’m back on the East Coast — full-hearted, sun-kissed, and feeling deeply recharged.
This recent trip took me back to where it all began for CMD. I set out west with a few quiet intentions: to reconnect with dear friends, to have slow mornings with the people I love and miss, and to feel grounded again. Life on the road does something for my soul that I can’t quite explain… It brings me so much clarity.
Recharging, for me, isn’t about a packed itinerary. It looks more like roaming around my dear friends’ property and plucking sun-warmed mulberries straight from the trees. It’s about watching Miglia nose around near the swimming hole while I sit and bask in the streams of sunlight that stream through the branches. It’s about being off the grid, literally and mentally. No service. No agenda. Just quiet moments that help me return to myself.
Of course, some of the most fulfilling parts of this trip were the ones where I got to connect face-to-face with longtime customers (and many new ones, too). Seeing familiar faces from my Valencia days and meeting new friends at Abode in Half Moon Bay and Cavallo Point in Sausalito reminds me why connection is one of my core values and keeps me loving what I do much. There’s nothing like seeing someone light up when they’ve found their Dream Stack or next special piece. So many of you found me on Instagram and TikTok and traveled near and far to meet me in person and finally see The Ring Bar in real life. These moments never get old… It's truly humbling — so thank you.
Now, I’m back in Asbury Park — and I’m looking forward to connecting with you! If you’ve had your eye on something special or want to design something custom or one-of-a-kind, let’s make it happen!
For the first time ever, I’m opening up two Saturdays in August for appointments — a rare chance to book a weekend session with me! I’ll be soaking up summer here in Asbury Park, but I’m carving out time for one-on-one appointments, whether you’re local and want to swing by in person or prefer to meet virtually.
If you’re ready to book, I’ll be available by appointment on Saturday, August 9th or Saturday, August 23rd anytime from 10am - 6pm. These spots are limited and by appointment only, so be sure to reserve your time slot soon! Let’s start working on your custom piece using family diamonds, build your Dream Stack or I’ll help you pick out the perfect gift. For one-on-one appointments, I respectfully require a $250 minimum purchase.
Not quite ready for a one-on-one session, but the mood to stop by, try things on, or build your Dream Stack? Come say hi during my scheduled Open Hours at The CMD Shop on Saturday, August 16th from 11am - 4pm — no appointment required!
Not local or timing not matching up? I’m always an email away if you’re looking for something special, have a loose idea for a project, want to request an appointment day/time you don’t see available in my Calendly or Open Hours & Events schedule, or have a question that you can’t find the answer to online.
I’m feeling so creatively full and ready for what’s ahead. I’d especially love to create something inspired together! I can’t wait to see you, reconnect, and dream up your next favorite piece.
With gratitude,
Colleen

When it comes to jewelry, there’s something about a piece that pulls on the old heart strings — one that carries meaning, a memory, and a story only you could tell. Over the years, I’ve created countless custom designs. It never gets old to see a simple letter or name transform [...]
When I sit down at my workbench — usually with a fresh cup of coffee and a pencil sketch that’s already been lived in a little — I’m thinking about more than just metal and stone. I’m thinking about the way jewelry becomes a part of us. How a single piece can carry a memory, a milestone, or a sense of power that’s uniquely our own. I'm thrilled to [...]
Just recently, I posted a TikTok of Tayci’s Dream Stack after a client purchased one online. That post ended up getting thousands of views, hundreds of likes, and more than a few “I need this stack!” comments. It’s been so fun watching the excitement unfold, because this is what CMD is all about: interactive design. [...]
