Because these rings take up a lot of space on the finger, it's tough to estimate the right ring size, even if you know your size pretty well. Plus, as you go through a typical day, your fingers will swell up or shrink. The experts at CMD have a brilliant solution for this--they send you three different stack sets: the size you think you need, plus one that's a half size bigger and a half size smaller. You can wear the different stacks and really test drive which size is going to be right for you. Everything comes with a simple pre-printed return label too, so when you have your ring sized, you can just drop everything back into the envelope and return it.
The other amazing part of purchasing is the ability to customize! I really liked one of the stacks but wanted to swap out one of the rings. The CMD team (I worked with Jen!) set up a zoom so I could work directly with Colleen on customizing the perfect stack for me. It was so easy and I never had to leave my house!

I first discovered Colleen Mauer Designs with a friend at West Coast Craft in SF several years ago.
