We’re all going through challenging times, and we know that CMD isn't the only small business impacted right now. Our thoughts are with all whose jobs, businesses and lives have been affected by the virus so far and we are continually looking at other ways we can support those in our neighborhood and the larger community.
Sadly, we closed The SF Shop at the beginning of last week until further notice. Although shop space is boarded up and our our doors are locked, Colleen Mauer Designs is still in business. We feel really lucky that we've been able to get creative with the way we're operating under the circumstances.
Our team has been bi-coastal for a few years now, and a few team members have been working remotely for quite some time. Despite the distance and time difference, we've been able to maintain our close-knit team feel, and have developed successful communication practices. We've also adjusted our methods, our schedules, and intensified our already-meticulous hygiene practices. The health and safety of our employees, our customers and our communities are our top concerns right now, and always.

If you’ve been following CMD on Instagram or Facebook, you might have seen us posting about our first all-virtual Sample Sale. This annual event is typically held in-person at The SF Shop, but this year will be a bit different.
We couldn't bear the thought of cancelling the longest-awaited sale event of year, so we pooled our efforts, came up with a new plan, and made it happen. We’re so excited to finally be offering the best of this sale to all those who aren’t local, and it’s been so nice to virtually connect with those who have already signed up to shop the sale. Your support has meant the world to all of us here at CMD, and we want to express our gratitude for helping us to stay afloat during these challenging times.
