Friends, family, and beloved CMD community — someone please pinch me! CMD is turning 20 this year! What started at my San Francisco apartment in Hayes Valley two decades ago has grown into something so much bigger, more beautiful and meaningful than I ever imagined. And now, for the first time in a very long time, our entire CMD team will be together in Asbury Park to celebrate this milestone with YOU. ✨ It’s been MANY years since we have all been under one roof together, I’m SO PUMPED UP for this (squealing over here!)

This event is going to be a CMD reunion and anniversary party rolled into one. The team is psyched to meet all of you and talk about our process. Of course, we’ll be showing off the CMD collection and we’ll have light bites and drinks so plan to stay and hang with us! Everyone is welcome so bring your friends and make a night of it. We are still ironing out all the details but please absolutely 100% SAVE THE DATE! There’s nothing that fills my cup more than envisioning our community, family and friends there with us for this huge anniversary.
 

Meet the Faces Behind CMD

CMD has always been about connection — not only through the jewelry we make, but also through the hands and hearts that bring it to life. Here’s a little introduction to the women you’ll get to meet during the celebration:

Aryana (aka Ary) — Our production powerhouse, Ary brings CMD’s designs to life with steady hands, precision, and endless creativity. She’s been with me since the beginning of CMD and is the reason our production team is based in Trumansburg, NY! Read more on that here.

Sam — Another wildly talented gal and a key player on our Upstate NY production team, Sam is detail-oriented to her core and she ensures every piece is finished to perfection. She’s also a maker at heart outside of CMD.

Kelsey — Our behind-the-scenes wizard, Kelsey keeps the wheels turning on all things marketing, content, and communication. She’s always dreaming up new ways to connect with you, and will be venturing to Asbury Park from Connecticut for this celebration!

Colleen (that’s me!) — Founder, designer, people person and eternal ring-stacker. I still sketch, shape, and dream up the jewelry we bring into the world, but my biggest joy these days is seeing this team shine and our community grow stronger year after year.

Miglia (aka Migs) — Our honorary fifth member, studio pup, and resident morale booster. Migs doesn’t do super well at parties but she will definitely make a cameo during the event to eagerly greet all of you and also pop in for a team photo.

It’s so rare for all of us to be in one place at the same time, so this gathering is extra special. I can’t wait for you to meet everyone, share some laughs, and toast to 20 years of CMD together.
