It’s my absolute pleasure to introduce you to Anyea -- THE Anyea behind The Anyea Stack that we welcomed into to the CMD collection earlier this week.
I had the best time with Anyea designing her Dream Stack over FaceTime. She has such amazing #CMDSTYLE that we just had to add her design as a permanent set in the collection.
Anyea is a local curly hair specialist with an unbelievably gorgeous mane of her own (I can’t get over how beautiful it is.) She places an emphasis on clean toxic-free products, and says she geeks out over all curl types from wavy to tightly coiled. She’s passionate about helping people embrace their natural texture, and loves collecting jewelry wherever she’s living or traveling. She has pieces from Guam all the way to the East Coast, and plenty of places in between. She says she’s especially attracted to geometric shapes, and when she saw some CMD jewelry on a client of hers it was love at first sight -- our square stacks in particular. And, now she has a Dream Stack all her own!
I loved working with Anyea over FaceTime, and I’m tickled to know she feels the same. 🥰 Anyea says her set “is a truly unique and personalized piece to call her own. It will always be my San Francisco treasure.” Ugh, my aching heartstrings.
You can now shop The Anyea Stack or book an appointment to create your own signature set at a discount!

CMD’s production studio is on the move… but we’re not going very far! Later this month, we’re moving into a brighter and slightly larger space just next door to our current studio in Trumansburg, New York (or as the locals lovingly call it, “T-Burg”). While our Upstate NY studio isn’t open to the public, it’s where all the real magic happens. Every single piece is [...]
As Mother’s Day approaches, I find myself thinking less about picture-perfect bouquets or greeting card clichés — and more about the deeper, quieter forces that shape and support us. Because the truth is, “mothering” can take many different forms. It might look like a biological mom, yes. But it also looks like the friend who always picks up the phone [...]
