It’s officially that time again — I’m gearing up to hit the road for another summer adventure out west. Before I fly cross-country and settle into van life for a few weeks of travel, pop-ups, and reconnection with old friends, I’m kicking things off with a local event that’s especially close to home.
Join me at Terra Earth & Surf in Spring Lake, NJ on Friday, June 27th and Saturday, June 28th from 10am–5pm for a special two-day Ring Bar Pop-Up. This will be my last local event before I head out west, and I’d love to see you there!
This event is extra special not only because of the timing, but also because of the setting. Terra is one of those magical small businesses that just feels good. Kerry’s curation of earth and surf inspired outdoor living pieces and natural home goods is so aligned with everything I love: grounding, intention, simplicity and beauty. It’s the perfect place to host this next Ring Bar Pop-Up — and a beautiful backdrop to help send me off with love.
If you followed along last summer, you might remember I took an epic van journey across the country. That 8,000+ mile trip changed me in so many ways. It was healing, expansive, soul-filling, and helped me process so much of what I’d been carrying. I came back feeling reborn — a little tired, but a lot lighter.
This year’s journey will be a bit different. Instead of driving cross-country, I’ll be flying west and renting a van for a few weeks to reconnect with the landscapes (and people) that continue to shape me. I’ll be spending time in my beloved NorCal, where this whole jewelry journey began, and soaking in time with friends who feel like family.
I’ll also be popping up at two beautiful West Coast spots:
If you’re in California — or have friends out there — I’d love to see some familiar faces (and meet new ones!) during these two events.
This Spring Lake pop-up feels like the first official stop on the tour — a way to celebrate how far CMD has come, to toast to what’s next, and to connect with you before I take off. I’ll have the full CMD collection, you can try on all your favorites, and I'll be offering personalized Ring Bar consultations if you want to build your Dream Stack or mark a special moment before summer’s in full swing.
These trips are more than just business to me. They’re part of how I stay connected — to myself, to this community, to the people who’ve supported CMD from the very beginning. They remind me why I started all of this in the first place.
So — come by, bring a friend, and say hello before I head west. If you're local. I promise to return with stories, sparkle, and maybe even a few new designs born from the road.
With love and gratitude,
xo, Colleen

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on some of my favorite custom projects — the kind where memory, metal and meaning all collide. From heirloom diamonds and recycled gold to entirely bespoke wedding bands, these are the stories that remind me why I feel so called to this work... If you’ve been holding onto diamonds, want to recycle metal for [...]
When LP Giobbi asked me backstage at the Fox Theatre if I would design her and Chad’s wedding bands, I was absolutely floored. Floored in the “hold it together, Colleen” kind of way. Internally, I was doing cartwheels. If you’ve been here a while, you know that LP and I first connected through music and mutual admiration. What began as a soul-recognition [...]
Over the years, I can’t tell you how many times I have gotten requests to repurpose precious family diamonds or to redesign jewelry to have a CMD aesthetic. Clearly, there is a real interest in transforming heirloom pieces, resetting diamonds, or creating something entirely new from older jewelry you no longer wear. You asked and now, we deliver! [...]
