While we offer several variations of pre-made stacks, CMD also offers dozens of individual rings at our Ring Bar. This is a fun and creative way for our clients to participate in “interactive design” and put together stacks that are 100% personalized for them.
The big day is just around the corner. This weekend at NYNOW we are revealing our latest collection: TRI by Colleen Mauer Designs. For years our clients have requested jewelry that incorporates three materials, similar to the aesthetic of our stacked rings. Thus, the inspiration for TRI was born.
We’re kicking up our heels with excitement about the latest buzz from our showroom: a brand new collection is just about ready to launch. With each new CMD collection comes a happy wave of emotion; creating jewelry (in both our California and New York production studios) is always exhilarating.
If you’re a frequent reader of our blog, you know that creating fine, handmade jewelry right here in San Francisco is the beating heart of CMD. We’re so proud (and grateful!) for it all: watching our designs come alive; a rockstar staff; an amazing neighborhood filled to the brim with other local creatives—the list goes on.
At our epic 10th anniversary party last week we debuted our Ring Bar. The accompanying menu provided prices for the different sizes and metals, and our guests were able to mingle while trying on each ring. The ring bar was a huge hit, and we *loved* seeing so many friends and clients create their own unique stacks.
These rings maintain our signature styles: mixed metals, hammered finishes, and (comfortably) squared edges, but the Densa rings are quite unique due to their size and weight. While many of our CMD pieces are known for their delicateness (all the better for layering!), these latest rings are—quite literally—dense.
