If I invited you over to my home for a cup of tea, I could walk you through all the nooks and crannies of each room and share the stories and personalities of every object that I own. It's wild that something that can’t eat or breathe can have so much meaning and feeling that energy inevitably seeps out of it. I really treasure every tchotchke, photograph, jewelry or art piece I own as a piece of my storybook. They sort of serve of catalog of my life, chock full of memories and stories that I’ve created along the way.
As a designer, I’ve been striving to envision new pieces that will look as beautiful on your armoire as they do when placed on your body. Can jewelry be both a piece of art, conversation-starter and something wearable at the same time? I do believe so!
I’ve been really inspired lately by the tactile and interactive nature when I touch some of my designs and how they feel when I wear them. Introducing Objects: I invite you to wear, engage and start a conversation about these very unique pieces. I’m so excited to share this brand new capsule collection with you.

Have you ever simply admired a piece of jewelry as an object? The details of the finishes combined with a story it might tell? Perhaps it’s a family heirloom or a precious gift from a special someone who is no longer with us. There can be so much meaning in just a little hunk of metal.
As your beautiful jewelry rests at night, each piece is a stunning object sitting in that handmade ceramic dish. Each piece is truly a treasure, a work of art, a perfect and even imperfect object…beauteous, all the same.
How do you feel about jewelry simply as an object? Share your thoughts with me in the comments below!

CMD’s production studio is on the move… but we’re not going very far! Later this month, we’re moving into a brighter and slightly larger space just next door to our current studio in Trumansburg, New York (or as the locals lovingly call it, “T-Burg”). While our Upstate NY studio isn’t open to the public, it’s where all the real magic happens. Every single piece is [...]
As Mother’s Day approaches, I find myself thinking less about picture-perfect bouquets or greeting card clichés — and more about the deeper, quieter forces that shape and support us. Because the truth is, “mothering” can take many different forms. It might look like a biological mom, yes. But it also looks like the friend who always picks up the phone [...]
