Meet Asbury Park’s local pop star, Blaise Anthony Lucarelli. When I first met him I was struck by his exuberant energy and his authentic spirit. You’ll find Blaise performing at music venues like the iconic Georgies, The Saint and House of Independence.  He lives his life to the fullest as his most fabulous self at all times, both on and off the stage. His day job is Front Desk Manager and Bridal Coordinator at Lock & Shade Hair Salon right here in town. If you've ever met Blaise, you know there is no off-stage for this diva. He believes you should live as if everyone is watching your performance at all times.

Blaise was born and raised in Red Bank, NJ and then went on to school at the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising in NYC. Blaise has been in Asbury for about 7 years and loves how people and art intersect in this vibrant community. Top on Blaise's bucket list is going to Japan to experience the amazing culture.

His mission in life is to help individuals realize just how beautiful they are. When talking to him, you really can't help but smile. His magnetic personality is so engaging. After spending just a short 30 minutes with Blaise, I could have chatted with him all day. Blaise also hopes to show the endless possibilities of sexual, and personal identification through his performances.

When asked about CMD, he loves the gender fluidity of the designs and how the jewelry feels from the future but also timeless. I couldn't have said it better myself!

Blaise's personal mantra: “You don't have to be anything… but you can be everything.” Cheers to that! 🤩 Thank you so much for being a part of The Hand Project @blaise86. You’re truly an inspiration and I can’t wait to catch you at your next performance.

Sometimes when you go back to the place where it all started, you begin to see things through a completely different lens. At 18 years old, there was nothing I wanted more than to leave NJ and see the world. I wanted to move west, travel, and fulfill my creative dreams. I didn’t know where I was headed or how it would [...]
