I want to challenge the way you think about the value in shopping small. Remember how important it is to shop in stores and support our local communities and neighbors. As we continue to see small spaces closing, I encourage you to consider the part you play in contributing to what makes your neighborhood vibrant.

You can check out our creative space (brimming with tools and sketches) and try on any of our beautifully finished pieces. We even have a Ring Bar where you can build customized stacks. 

I was born and raised in New Jersey and I do miss the dazzling changes that happen during the fall foliage season. And really, who doesn’t love some good sweater weather? It’s a time to be cozy and warm, yet stylish, and this time of year I find myself drawn more and more to longer layered mixed metal pieces.

Running a small business has so many facets and while it can be so rewarding, it can also be challenging at times. But, at the end of the day when I walk out of my shop, I look up at the CMD sign and feel so grateful because it reminds me of where I started and how far we’ve come as a group of women on two coasts.

This extravagant event is open to all. Join me and the CMD team as we spread festive arm parties everywhere we go. Required for attendance: lots & lots of layered bracelets. Location: anywhere & everywhere. I’m feeling especially inspired by bracelets as I prepare to launch FORTH by CMD, our latest collection. 

CMD runs on woman power, and we’re all the stronger for it. We were delighted to spend the last few days at our New York Production Studio, all the way across the country from our San Francisco HQ. While we may span time zones, our common passions, worth ethics and respect for one another keep us closely tied together. 

As the year winds down and we look forward to 2017, we want to take a moment to thank each of you for supporting small business this year. We’re appreciative of each of one of you! Our very favorite part of the holiday season (next to spending it with friends and family) is the Christmas tree itself.
