Meet the Sunburst Ring, CMD’s most iconic sparkler yet and one I’m seriously proud of.

I had a vision to design a future heirloom: a statement piece with a big, sparkling diamond and a super low profile, something that won’t get in the way and could be worn by anyone who loves a little attention. I’m not a prong kind of gal, so I thought, what if I could create a statement ring that sparkles without getting in the way? I have never worn a large diamond, ever, and I cannot wait to wear this one on my pointer finger.

A sunburst is the sun breaking through the clouds, light spilling out from a single bright point. That’s the feeling I wanted to wear and to give you, with the diamond at the center doing all the glowing.

To me, the diamond is like a sundial, a navigational force. I’ve been in so much flux with the direction of CMD, and wearing this ring feels like an ancestral pull, like my spirit guides are helping me forge ahead and create a new, more expansive path. Wear this icon on any finger (pinky, anyone?) and get ready to start a conversation.

Handmade to order in our Upstate NY studio, the Sunburst is available in solid 10k gold or solid 14k gold and features a 1.25 carat lab-grown diamond set deep into a softly domed band with a satin finish. The band is 9mm wide at the top and 4mm at the base. This ring is currently available in sizes 5.0 to 11.0, including half sizes, with a production time of 3 to 5 weeks.
