The Happy Hour Sale has become a crowd favorite since its inception during the pandemic. It all started as a way to connect with you while our San Francisco brick and mortar was closed. Just before I made the official jump and moved back to the East Coast, I set up shop at my mom's (who was recovering from shoulder surgery) while I figured out what the next phase of CMD would look like. I whipped up a very informal filming area (my iPhone on a little tripod) on her back porch... wow, that takes me back! What began as a simple idea to create unique ring stacks at a discount quickly blossomed into a monthly event that our community eagerly anticipates.
The concept of The Ring Bar began about ten years ago during CMD's 10 year anniversary celebration. I decided to transform our studio table into an interactive space where customers could explore individual rings in various sizes and get inspired by example stack sets I'd thoughtfully designed. The hands-on experience was so popular that we continue to showcase our rings this way today! In fact, a handful of our retail partners have adopted The Ring Bar concept in their own stores.
Before that anniversary party, I exclusively sold Stack Ring Sets but Individual Rings quickly became insanely popular. The Happy Hour Sale has allowed me to test new designs and see what resonated most with you! It’s a unique opportunity to explore exclusive limited editions and best-sellers at a sweet discount—perfect for starting or adding to your own signature stack.
During the Happy Hour Sale, you'll have the chance to discover fresh designs and get styling tips directly from me. It’s a fun way to test out new designs I’ve been working on and see which pieces become your favorites. Often, one standout design can spark an entire new collection. Your feedback is so essential to this organic creative process that I’ve come to love so much.
Remember, the magic of the Happy Hour Sale is fleeting. Once it ends, any exclusive pieces and discounted prices go back into the CMD vault, so be sure to take advantage of this limited-time event! You’ll also notice that I sometimes feature designs from our existing collection because, well… I just want you to have them at a lower price.
