We love soaking up the sun coast to coast, and though our New York (via New Jersey) run is sadly coming to a close, CMD can’t wait to get back to The Golden State. Fall in the Bay Area is all about life au soleil—BBQs, music festivals, spectacular sunsets and long walks on the beach, just to name a few. In honor of San Francisco’s glorious Indian Summer we are paying homage to all things golden.

California’s gleaming coast ranks high on our list, as does the lovely sunshine itself (especially when it’s beaming brightly on our backyard succulents). We also fancy ourselves a bit of liquid gold in the forms of both iced coffee and crisp rosé. And while we love gabbing with friends, we’ve recently come to learn that silence is golden (more about that on the blog soon!). Finally, it goes without saying that gold jewelry—including that mixed with other metals—is perhaps the gilded treasure that makes us most proud. We love creating high quality, American-made jewelry, and our golden pieces have gone on to become wedding bands, oft-worn bangles and everything in between. This necklace, available in all gold with a hint of sun-like sparkly silver, is getting us extra excited for warm weather ahead. What are your favorite golden tokens, both jewelry and beyond? We’d love to hear more comments below.

Unplugged: CMD Summer Break!

August 24, 2023

At the start of 2023, I made a pact with myself to find a better way to unplug this year. Not just for me, but for the whole CMD team. Being such a small company and team (there’s only five of us!), one person being out can add pressure to the already heavy workload. I'll be [...]
