The first Happy Hour Sale of the year officially begins today, and whether you’re a longtime collector or brand new to CMD, I wanted to take a moment to share what Happy Hour is all about, and why it’s become such a beloved tradition in our little corner of the jewelry world.
The Happy Hour Sale started several years ago in 2020 during a time when connection felt especially important. When in-person shopping and gatherings weren’t possible, I began hopping on Instagram to share new ring and bracelet designs live. It was all about experimenting, sketching, stacking, and offering those designs for a short window at special pricing.
What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into something more meaningful. The Happy Hour Sale became a way for me to try new ideas, for you to discover fresh designs, and for all of us to connect around the joy of stacking. Over time, it’s grown into one of CMD’s most anticipated events... and honestly, one I look forward to every time.
Happy Hour takes place once every few months and not on a fixed schedule. That’s intentional. It allows me to stay creative, keep things special, and avoid the pressure of always discounting our work.
Each Happy Hour Sale is its own moment — a small, celebratory pause where we highlight a curated mix of designs at sweet, limited-time pricing.
Every Happy Hour features a tight edit of ring and bracelet designs — often including Stack Ring Sets, Individual Rings, and Bracelets.
Some pieces are limited edition, some are familiar favorites, and all are handmade to order by our production team in our Upstate New York studio. Once the sale ends, these designs and the special pricing return to the CMD vault. Sometimes, when designs sell especially well, they return as permanent members of the CMD collection. Think of Happy Hour as a little user research while we’re at it! ;)
Happy Hour discounts typically fall in the 20–35% off range, depending on the design. This is one of the few times throughout the year when we offer this level of savings on select styles. With the rising costs of our raw materials, this allows us to give you a sweet deal on a piece (or two) that won’t be available anywhere except on the CMD site.
As always, CMD jewelry is made to order. During the Happy Hour Sale, our team tends to be extra busy, so please allow 2–4 weeks for production and delivery. Sometimes orders go out sooner, but we prefer to give ourselves the breathing room to make each piece with care. Slow jewelry still applies even during a sale! We appreciate your support and patience.
Happy Hour isn’t about rushing or overproducing. It’s about celebrating design, creativity, and community. It’s a chance to experiment, to save a little, and to add thoughtfully made pieces to your collection — pieces that will live with you far beyond the sale window.
If you’ve been eyeing a stack, curious about trying CMD for the first time, or ready to add something new to your everyday rotation, the Happy Hour Sale is a great place to start.
Happy stacking!

Because CMD rings often feature nontraditional shapes — rounded squares, rigid squares, and sculptural bands — sizing can feel a little different than what you may be used to with standard circular rings. That’s why we take sizing very seriously around here. For all Custom Projects and Special Occasion [...]
We’re streamlining some of our older offerings to create space for new designs, custom work, and special projects. As part of that shift, we’ll be bidding some of our tried and true Stack Ring Sets goodbye. To mark the transition, we’re offering up to 20% off select Stack Ring Sets for a limited time. These ring stack styles [...]
We love jewelry that holds a story but doesn’t need to shout about it. The initials sit subtly at the ends of the cuff — visible enough for you to see, but understated enough that the meaning remains personal. The new Chosen Family Cuff and Wide Chosen Family Cuff are the kinds of pieces that quietly become part of [...]
