I've been thinking a LOT about solid gold lately.
Solid gold has a weight and permanence to it that I find completely addictive. It wears differently, ages beautifully, and becomes part of your body over time. The challenge is that 14k solid gold isn't always accessible, and that's been weighing on me because people REALLY want it, it's just not always within reach.
There's a pretty significant leap between our Everyday Jewelry in sterling silver and 14k gold-fill and our Special Occasion line in solid 14k gold. Trust me, I've been staring at that gap for a while now, convinced there's something worth building in between.
Turns out, there is.
We've been working behind the scenes on something new, testing, designing and figuring out how it fits into the CMD world. And next week, I finally get to show you what we've been up to.
It's still solid gold jewelry designed and handcrafted by CMD. And it's still meant to be worn, stacked, loved and lived in for a very long time. But it opens up a more approachable entry point into solid gold.
