There’s something about this time of year that makes me want to get out, reconnect, and spend more time face-to-face.
I’m especially excited for a few upcoming chances to do just that — whether you’re local or a little farther away.
Here's what's coming up over the next few weeks:
First, Open Hours this weekend right here in Asbury Park…
No appointment needed — just come by!
If you’ve been wanting to try on stacks in person, see how different shapes and metals feel on your hand, or just spend a little time with me in The CMD Shop — this is for you. These days are relaxed, low-pressure, and honestly some of my favorite ways to connect. Come as you are, take your time, and see what naturally clicks.
After that, I’ll be heading down to DC for one of my favorite annual traditions — a Ring Bar Pop-Up at The Phoenix.
Walk-ins welcome!
If you've been following CMD for a while, you know how much I love this store. The Phoenix is one of those rare places that feels deeply rooted — thoughtful, creative, and truly connected to its community. I've been working with them for years, and every visit give me that “ I’m heading home” feeling.
I'll have the Ring Bar and the entire collection with me. Come build your stack, try different combos, and find something that feels like you.
So much of what we do lives online — but this work has always been about connection in a very real, tangible way.
Jewelry is something you wear every day. It becomes part of your routine, your memory, your identity. And there’s something different that happens when you experience it in person—when you can feel the weight of a piece and see how it actually lives on your hand.
These events are a chance for that. They're also an opportunity for me to meet you, hear your stories, and be part of the important moments that eventually become the meaning behind what you wear.
If you're nearby for either of these, I'd truly love to see you. Bring a friend — or just come as you are.
Hope to see you soon,
Colleen

I wish more happily married women knew that redesigning their original wedding ring isn’t disloyal. Sometimes, it’s simply overdue! Cara and Cor have been married for well over twenty years. The kind of couple that instantly makes you smile. They are deeply connected, effortlessly funny, incredibly cool without [...]
The Colleen Pinky Stack started because people wouldn't stop asking me the same question: "What's that?" (pointing to my pinky set). Originally part of my own everyday stack, the design became such a customer favorite that we turned it into a permanent member of the CMD fam. And it's been one of our best [...]
Since the beginning of this year, clients from coast to coast have been mailing, carrying and carefully placing deeply personal jewelry into my hands. Old engagement rings. Broken chains. Inherited heirlooms. Pieces tied to marriages, grandparents, milestones, grief, growth and entirely different [...]
