Kismet is an old word for “portion,” the share of life that was always meant to be yours. Some of my best work comes to me in random moments, like an outer force of nature, and this ring was one of them. It had also been on my list for a while to design something elevated that wouldn’t feel completely out of reach, and the Kismet became exactly that: a silver band, gold tips, and two sparkly little lab-grown diamonds.
Then I opened it up so those sparklers could act almost like a guide, or a sherpa, helping you trust your intuition to show you the way. A closed band is complete in itself, but the Kismet leaves a gap at the top of your finger with a diamond waiting on either side, a built-in nudge to stay open to whatever is coming. That’s the anything-is-possible feeling I was after, and trusting the Universe’s plan is something I’m working on in my own life right now, so this ring is as much a reminder for me as it is for you.
Designed to be worn with the opening facing up, the Kismet is handmade in Upstate New York in sterling silver (.925) and 14k solid yellow gold tips with two 3mm lab-grown diamonds. The round silver band measures 3.25mm wide and is available in sizes 2.5 to 13, with your choice of a matte or shiny finish. Production time is 2 to 3 weeks.
