Origin Hoop Earrings

The Origin Hoop Earrings were designed as a tribute to where it all began — a nod to the early days of CMD, when a sketchbook, a handful of tools, and an irresistible creative spark set everything in motion. As we celebrate 20 years in business, these hoops honor the foundation of our craft: clean geometry, thoughtful contrast, and the belief that handmade pieces carry stories of their own.

This two-toned hoop design pairs a sterling silver arc with a 14k gold-fill counterpart, creating a balanced circle that feels both sculptural and effortless. As part of The Big Two-Oh Collection, the interplay of metals in this design reflects the evolution of CMD itself — the blending of past and present, the merging of ideas, and the full-circle moments that shaped the last two decades. These hoops are bold enough to make a statement, yet timeless enough for everyday wear.

These earrings measure 1.5" by 1.25". Each pair is finished with a silver post and comes with sterling silver backs. Materials: 14k gold-fill (14k gold over a brass core, no nickel) and sterling silver (.925). All materials are hypoallergenic. These earrings were designed in Asbury Park and are handmade in our Upstate New York production studio.
