How Quickly Will My Order Ship? 

It’s inevitable that quite regularly, we get a new client asking about the turnaround time for their order. Whether they’re simply excited for their new piece or need it in time for a special occasion, it makes perfect sense to want to know when your jewelry will arrive.

At CMD, every single piece of jewelry is handcrafted with love, care, and a whole lot of precision. Because of that, turnaround times can vary slightly — but rest assured, every order is made (and shipped) as quickly as possible without ever compromising quality.
 

Most Pieces Are Made to Order

Most CMD pieces are made to order, meaning your jewelry begins its journey after you place your order. Our small but mighty team (Aryana and Sam) in Upstate New York handcrafts each piece with care — polishing, soldering, finishing, and packaging it with the intention it deserves.

In some cases, we may have your piece in stock and ready to go at The CMD Shop in Asbury Park. When that happens, I’ll ship it within 3-4 business days so it lands on your doorstep even faster.
 

Pieces That Take a Little Longer

While most orders move through our studio within a week or two, certain pieces require a bit more time and love. These include:

• Special occasion and 14k gold pieces
• Diamond-adorned jewelry
• Custom or personalized designs
• Ring sizes under 6.0 or over 10.5 — We don’t typically keep castings for these sizes in stock, so we order them before we begin production.

We do our best to anticipate materials and order ahead, but occasionally, we need to restock or special-order materials based on what’s trending.
 

Once Your Order Is Ready

Once your jewelry is completed, we process shipments within 1–2 business days. Domestic delivery times vary depending on your chosen shipping method:
 

• USPS First Class / Ground Advantage (4–7 Business Days After Production) — $6
• USPS First Class / Ground Advantage (Signature Required) — $10
• USPS Priority Mail (4–7 Business Days After Production) — $15
• USPS Express (2–3 Business Days After Production) — $45
• FedEx Ground (Signature Required) – Free for Orders $1,500+

 
If you’re ordering during a big event like the Happy Hour Sale, Metal Madness or the upcoming Holiday Season, please allow a little extra time. Our studio is buzzing during those weeks, but we promise we’re always doing our best to get your order out as quickly as possible.
 

Planning Ahead for the Holidays

It’s never too early to start thinking about holiday gifts — especially for handcrafted jewelry. Every CMD piece is made with intention and designed to last for years, which makes it a meaningful gift for anyone on your list.

If you’re hoping to have a piece in hand by mid-December, we always recommend placing your order early (before or around Plaid Friday) to give us time to create, polish, and ship it with care.
