One of the most common questions we hear is simple: “What size should I order?” And the honest answer is — there’s a bit of nuance.
Over time, and through making tons of rings by hand, we’ve learned that shape matters just as much as size.
Here’s what we’ve found based on our “data”:
Square bands and sets tend to fit more true to size and will feel slightly roomier than our round bands). Square rings = order true to size.
Round bands and sets and mixed-shape stacks (a combination of round + square) typically feel more snug. Round or mixed stacks = order ½ size up.
But even with these suggestions, every hand is different. Finger shape, knuckle width, stacking preferences, and how you like your rings to feel all play a role!
We’re not here to make sizing stressful — we’re here to help you find the perfect fit. Every ring and stack set includes one complimentary size exchange. We just ask you to pay for shipping one way and we’ll handle the cost of getting the new stack produced and shipped back to you. We understand that sometimes you really do need to try it on, and we agree!
We make each piece to order, and while we always aim to get it right the first time, we also understand that rings are personal and should feel super comfy.
For Special Occasion and Custom Orders (solid 14k gold, heirloom redesigns, and custom projects), we take an extra step to ensure the fit is just right. Before your piece goes into production, we send you a custom sizing kit. This complimentary service is so that when we create your final piece, we know it will feel right from the start. Because when we’re working with precious materials, precision matters.
We’re in the business of making rings. Which means we’re also in the business of understanding that sizing isn’t always perfect on the first try, and sometimes that's just part of the process.
